Letter from the Editors

Dear Reader,

Welcome to the marvelous May 2017 issue. We're proud to present five brand-new stories. We feel they're all fresh examples of speculative fiction.

We have The Axe by Mark Salzwedel, a unique mythological time travel story.
Corporate Robo Renegade Piston by Nicholas Sugarman is a SF tale which puts an entirely new spin on competition.
The Dratt Is Coming by Maureen Bowden is a fascinating fantasy set in the modern day U.K.
Justice Enough by Eric Lewis is a more classic fantasy with powerful emotions.
Northwest Regional by John Sunseri is an amazing SF take on a new type of capture-the-flag game.
And, last but not least, we have Editors Corner Nonfiction: Why It's Okay To Both Love And Hate The Movie Colossal by Nikki Baird.

We hope you enjoy this issue as much as we enjoyed putting it together for you!

Thanks for reading,
The Electric Spec Team
