Our dear friend the British witch, Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki, passed in January at the age of 97. We will miss her good humor and her ability to recognize great stories in any format, to spark new tales, and to pull true stories from others as easily as a sword from a stone.

The book that she said "scares the shit out of me," Johnny Nova, has just been released and I look forward to reviewing it soon.

We interviewed Dolores a few years ago about the second book in her modern Arthurian series. Sadly, the third book has not been published yet. I hope it is complete enough to appear in print soon.
